Children 6 yrs and older (Can Gym levels 1-6)

Gym Rec'd is a Gymnastics Program concentrating on Progressions. We will be teaching skills on all apparatus (bars, floor, balance beam, Tumble Track, Trampoline, Vault) following the nationally recognized CANGYM program. Approximately 50 skills are presented in each level, covering 12 different stages. This program is for beginner to Advanced Gymnast. Athletes will receive a badge at the end of each session.

Totally Gym Rec'd. Summerland: Can Gym levels 6-12
We will divide kids into appropriate groups within the first 2-3 weeks.

In this unique class, the parent participates, allowing the young child the opportunity to grow comfortably in a group situation at their own individual pace. Basic motor skills such as, rolling, climbing, swinging, locomotion, balances jumping and eye-hand coordination are encouraged at each station. Activities include the use of parachutes, Trampolines, age appropriate gymnastics apparatus. Parents and child share, communicate and bond in a fun, productive environment Parent Participation classes are also a great way to introduce children to patience, sharing and taking turns. DYNA’MITE!

Learn
all about the Fundamentals of Gymnastics, Trampolining, Movements and
tumbling. This challenging and fun class is a wonderful opportunity for
your child to enhance self-esteem, self confidence and the ability to
work independently and with others using all gym equipment. We will be
working on Mini Handstands, Cartwheels, swinging, pull overs, shaped
jumps and balancing.

The Western Canadian Gymnasestrada is an annual Celebration of Gymnastics, Dance, Cheerleading and Acro Sports. It is show and work shop for athletes of all levels (recreational-competitive).
This event is NOT a competition and usually attracts close to 1000 participants.
Fitkidz gymnasts have been participating at this event for years and have LOTS of fun memories to share. This year's performance group will be coached by our Cherrleading and Acro Gymnastics Coach. Tyson Hewitt. Tyson is a Level 5 Cherrleading Instructor, Level 2 Trampoline and Level 1 Artistic Gymnastics Coach. We Guarantee the girls and Boys ages 7 and older will have a BLAST!!!
